One-on-one sessions in the privacy of your home or at our training facility guarantees supportive learning. We design a training or behavior modification program to suit your individual needs and goals.

Group classes
All classes take place at the House of Hounds training facility, which boasts rubberized floors to prevent paws from slipping and a door fence that stops potential runaways. Class sizes are limited to 6 to allow
for hands-on learning and lots of personal attention.

Puppy Kindergarten
Early learning and plenty of dog-dog socialization combine to form the backbone of happy, problem-free adult dogs. To give your pooch the best start in life, join our puppy class and learn about housetraining,
crate training, everyday management, and the foundation of obedience work, while your puppy plays with his classmates.

Basic Education
Here we cover the indispensable elements of dog training, from learning theory to handling skills. Your dog will learn commands like sit, down, and stay, as well as loose-leash walking, basic recall, and polite greeting of strangers.

Advanced Training
This class is for those who want their dogs to go to the next level. Distance stays, bulletproof recall, and exquisite manners at home and out in the world are a few of the subjects we’ll cover. To attend this class, your dog should master the basics, like sit, down, and stay.

Clicks & Tricks
A fun-filled exploration of just how many great behaviors your dog can learn through clicker training. Want your pooch to do a ‘high five’? Smile like a wolf? Pick up the paper or your slippers? It’s all in the timing and the rewards. In this class, we’ll work on pure shaping as well as prompting.

Shy Dog Special
Owning a shy dog isn’t always easy. Well-meaning strangers can overwhelm your pooch, as can new places, sounds, and sights. This class gives you a deeper understanding of your shy dog and the skills to manage his stress levels. You will improve his quality of life and lessen the impact on your own.
